Terms of Use

These Terms were last updated on 23/03/2026. Please read them carefully before using Emberdesk. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

1. Using the service

Emberdesk is a developer tool for exploring and interacting with Firestore databases.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the service, and 18+ to make payments
  • If you're using Emberdesk on behalf of a company, you confirm you have permission to do so
  • This product is currently in beta and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time

Use it like you would any early-stage developer tool: carefully.

2. Your responsibility

Emberdesk connects to your Google Cloud project using credentials you authorize.

You are responsible for:

  • The projects you connect
  • The data you access
  • The queries you run
  • Any actions performed through the tool

Emberdesk acts as a proxy. All operations are executed using your permissions.

If you use Emberdesk against production data, you do so at your own risk.

3. What you can and can't do

Use the service responsibly.

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the service
  • Bypass security or access controls
  • Reverse-engineer or exploit the system
  • Use the service for illegal or harmful purposes
  • Use the service in a way that impacts other users or infrastructure

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these rules.

4. Data and access

Emberdesk does not own or control your data.

  • Your Firestore data remains in your Google Cloud project
  • We access it only when you initiate actions
  • We do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or consistency of results

You are responsible for verifying outputs before acting on them.

5. Beta disclaimer

This is an early-stage product.

Things may:

  • Break
  • Return incorrect results
  • Change without notice

Do not rely on Emberdesk as the sole source of truth for critical decisions.

6. Future functionality

We may introduce features that allow modifying data (e.g. writes, updates, deletes).

When available:

  • All changes will still be executed using your permissions
  • You remain fully responsible for any modifications made through the tool

7. Payments (future)

Emberdesk may introduce usage-based billing (e.g. credits).

  • Payments will be handled by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe or Paddle)
  • You will be responsible for usage incurred through your account
  • Pricing and limits may change over time

8. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Emberdesk at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these terms
  • Your usage creates risk for the service or other users
  • We decide to discontinue the product

We are not obligated to provide advance notice.

10. Disclaimer

Emberdesk is provided "as is".

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Availability
  • Accuracy
  • Reliability
  • Fitness for any specific purpose

This is a tool for developers. You are responsible for how you use it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, business interruption, or other consequences arising from the use (or inability to use) the service
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months (or zero, if you haven't paid anything)

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.

Any disputes will be handled in Brazilian courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time.

If we do, we'll post the updated version here. Continued use of the service means you accept the changes.
